The Thompson Center at UNO has an exclusive relationship with Brandeis Catering, which presents a wide range of food and beverage options from which to choose for all types of events. The professionally trained Brandeis staff works closely with hosts to make sure events are a success long remembered.
 
Whether you are planning an all day retreat or a multi-day conference, the Alumni Center is a perfect place to meet your needs. They have multiple rooms to fit different size groups and break-out areas as well as up-to-date audio visual equipment.
 
Maybe your are interested in having an outdoor wedding and a place to have the reception? The Thompson Center and surronding grounds make it a wish come true. After the ceremony, your guests may move to the patio for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and then inside for the dinner and dancing. Catering Policies

  • Once you have reserved the Thompson Center at UNO, your reservation is automatically in our system. Brandeis Catering will then contact you about 2-3 months in advance to plan receptions and about 3-4 weeks out for other events. 
  • A Non-Refundable deposit of $500.00 is required for social events.
  • Menu package includes buffet and sit-down selections. We suggest (1) one entrée selection for a sit-down meal. Specialty menus can be designed to meet dietary restrictions, please call our office. 
  • Guaranteed guest count is required (3-5) business days prior to your event with final payment due in full at that time.
  • China, glassware, flatware, linen table cloths and linen napkins are included in the pricing as well as 14" round mirrors and votive candles for centerpieces.
  • Pricing quoted does not include 19% service charge and current sales tax of 7%.
  • $20.00 staff charge will be added to all events 20 people or less.
