Named to Omaha's historic landmarks in 1999, the Livestock Exchange Building is a romantic setting that dates back to
1926, when it served as the center of the livestock industry in Omaha. Originally designed as a multi-purpose building, the
Livestock Exchange Building housed offices, a bakery, cafeteria, kitchen soda fountain, cigar stand, telegraph and telephone
offices, apartments, sleeping rooms, a clothing store, ballrooms and a convention hall. The Livestock Exchange Building
has two magnificent ballrooms located on the 10th floor, with 22-foot ceilings and an elegant Romanesque and Northern Italian
Renaissance Revival style.
The North Ballroom has a built-in bar, stage, hardwood floors, and can accommodate up to 350 guests. The South Ballroom
has a balcony and a large dance surface accommodating up to 250 guests. Both ballrooms have a spectacular view, and there
is plenty of onsite free parking. The Livestock Exchange Building is a full-service facility. Brandeis Catering provides all
the food, beverage and service staff. Also, at no additional charge, we provide tables, chairs, dance area, ivory or
white tablecloths, skirting, linen napkins, mirror tiles and votive candles. Our event planners work with our chef to help
you select from our extensive menus, to create an event that your guests will be praising for years to come. Our professional
staff handles every detail, no matter how small, so you will have the worry-free event of your dreams. Please call our office

Brandeis Catering offers several bar options:
Hosted Bar-client is purchasing beverages for their guests
Drink Tickets-client provides tickets to guests to redeem at bar, client will be charged on consumption.
Cash Bar- guests will pay for their own beverages ordered. A special permit is required for cash bars, the cost is $75.00 billed to the client. Please allow at least 30 days for processing. (The Georgetowne Club is excluded from this permit)
Bar Packages- We have a Beer, Wine and Soda Package available as well as a Full Package Bar to include Mixed Drinks. We offer three levels of liquor to select from: Well (House) Brands, Call Brands and our Premium Selections. All prices are based on final guest counts due 5 business days before event.
Bartending Fees- We will charge a $150.00 bartending charge on all bars unless sales exceed $500.00 per bar. One bartender can serve up to 125 people.
